This antihistamine cream contains an ingredient called diphenhydramine hydrochloride, an antihistamine which can help to soothe reactions in your skin. It reduces the response that your skin has to allergens, reducing inflammation, itching, and other reactions that your skin can have due to allergies, stings, or bites.
What happens when you have an allergy?
When you have an allergy, your body creates a natural substance called histamine when you come into contact with whatever it is that you’re allergic to. Histamine tells different parts of your body to try and clear the thing you’re allergic to out of your system, which causes symptoms of an allergic reaction, including:
- Skin rashes
- Itching
- Coughs
- Sneezing
- Watery eyes
Can I use this cream if I’m taking other medication?
This product is not currently known to interact with any other medications, but you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you are taking any other medication. Do not use this cream if you are using any other products that contain diphenhydramine.
Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
Antihistamine cream is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using any new medication at this time.
How to use antihistamine cream
Apply antihistamine cream sparingly to the affected area. Do not apply more than twice a day and do not use for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor. Wash your hands after you’ve applied this product, unless they are being treated.
When should this product not be used?
Antihistamine cream should not be used in children under the age of 6. Do not use this product if you are allergic to diphenhydramine hydrochloride or any of the other listed ingredients. For external use only, avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, or other sensitive areas. Do not apply to eczema or areas of skin that are broken or producing any form of discharge.

How to store this product
