What is Sudafed Decongestant Liquid?
This Sudafed Decongestant Liquid is a treatment that works to reduce nasal congestion that has been caused by a cold or the flu. As well as that, this treatment can also relieve catarrh, which is the build-up of mucus in the nose, chest, or throat. The active ingredient in this liquid is pseudoephedrine, which is a decongestant that works by thinning the blood vessels that have become swollen as a result of an infection.
What causes a blocked nose or catarrh?
Both a blocked nose and catarrh are caused by an infection, such as a cold or the flu. They can also be caused by an allergic reaction like hay fever. They occur as a result of germs entering the body and resting in the nose and mouth. The germs enter the body through the nose, mouth, or eyes after someone has sneezed or coughed and the germs linger in the air.
