What are Potters Mucus Cough Pastilles?
Potters Mucus Cough Pastilles are a form of treatment for a mucus cough that helps to provide relief for the symptoms of a mucus cough, a cold, or catarrh. These pastilles work thanks to the active ingredients contained in them. These are:
- Menthol
- Pumilio Pine Oil
- Eucalyptus Oil
These three ingredients provide decongestant and antiseptic properties when combined to form these pastilles that clear nasal congestion and mucus that is in the back of the nose.
What causes a mucus cough?
A mucus cough is most likely caused by an infection, such as a cold or the flu. The infection causes excess mucus to form in the chest, throat and nose, which the body responds to by causing a cough. A cough is a way of trying to move the mucus.

These pastilles are suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over. These should not be used by anyone who is allergic to any of the ingredients contained in the pastilles. If you are using any other medication, speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using.
Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use these pastilles?
Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding should speak to a medical professional before using these pastilles.
