How to use this cough medicine.
To treat a chesty cough, simply take two 5ml spoonfuls of Benylin Chesty Coughs medicine, four times a day. Do not take more than 4 doses of this medicine in any 24 hours.

Do not take this product if you are using depression medications known as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs).
Benylin Chesty Coughs can make you feel drowsy or dizzy. Do not attempt to drive or operate tools or machinery if you are affected by this product.
Does this product have any side effects?
Like all medicines, Benylin Chesty Coughs can have side effects although not everyone will get them. These side effects can include symptoms of an allergic reaction, including:
- Skin rashes.
- Swelling of the face, lips, or tongue.
- Fits of numbness.
- Itching.
Other side effects that you may experience while taking Benylin Chesty Coughs include:
- Shakiness (tremors).
- Drowsiness, dizziness, and blurred vision.
- Increased awareness of heartbeat (heart palpitations).
- Upset stomach.
